Legend has it, the goddess Aphrodite once looked upon the island of Kypros. She saw that it was overrun with snakes biting her worshippers to death, which can't be good for godlike business.

She filled a small barque with kitten and sent them on the waves to breed and populate the island. The cats saved the humans and their descendants still live together.

Is this story true? What we can say is that, for as long as there's been a census on Kypros, no death by snakebite was recorded. Not one.

But then what happens if one of the kitten got lost on the way? What if she makes shore just now?
